Has your child drawn on your slate-covered patio with a permanent marker, or did house paint drip onto the slate? Here’s how you can easily remove graffiti, paint, and marker from slate with an acid- and lye-free product based on highly effective solvents. The product efficiently dissolves various paints and spray paints, and its gel-like consistency makes it easy to use even on vertical surfaces. It leaves no stains as the product doesn’t penetrate the stone.

You will need

  • Akemi Graffiti Remover
  • Painting brush
  • Natural bristle scrub brush

The surface must be dry. The optimal temperature is 10–30°C, and avoid direct sunlight.

Apply the product evenly with a brush.

After about 10–15 minutes, the paint will be softened enough to wash off with warm water.

For heavier contamination, it may be necessary to repeat the treatment. In this case, apply the product thoroughly with a natural-bristle scrub brush, and rinse off after sufficient soaking time.
