The cabin at Byberg Strand was designed by architect Tommie Wilhelmsen and completed in 2022. The structure focuses on material continuity between interior and exterior spaces, with Light Oppdal quartzite used throughout as flooring material.

Indoors, silk brushed tiles in 300 x random lengths were installed. The outdoor areas consist partly of natural rustic outdoor tiles in 400 x random lengths (800–1900 mm), mounted on height-adjustable pedestals in the Terra Level system, and partly of large-format flagstones laid in loose bedding.

Both the pedestal-mounted tiles and the flagstones laid in bedding are installed to allow the material to be easily dismantled and fully reused.
