The general manager of Minera Skifer is responsible for the company’s processing of personal data. Providing personal data is voluntary for visitors to our website in connection with services such as receiving slate samples or brochures. The basis for processing is the consent of the individual, unless otherwise specified.
As an important part of the work of creating an easy-to-use website, we look at the user pattern of those who visit the site. We use Google Analytics and Hotjar analytics tool when processing information.
Google Analytics og Hotjar use (cookies) which register users’ IP addresses and provide information on the individual movements online. Examples of what the statistics give us answers to are; how many people visit different pages, how long the visit lasts, which websites users come from and which browsers are used. Hotjar enables us to build and maintain our service with user feedback.
None of the cookies allow us to link information about your use of the website to you as an individual. Data related to cookies is automatically deleted 14 months after registration. You can manage the use of cookies yourself.
The information collected by Google Analytics is stored on Google’s servers in the United States. Information received is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy.
Hotjar stores this information on our behalf in a pseudonymised user profile. Hotjar is contractually bound by a ban on selling any of the data collected on our behalf. For further information please see “About Hotjar” on Hotjar’s support page.
An IP address is defined as personal data because it can be traced back to a specific hardware and thus to an individual. The user’s IP address anonymises before the information is stored and processed by Google. The anonymized IP address can then not be used to identify the individual user.
