Have you spilled coffee, red wine, or fruit juice on your slate tiles? Here’s how to remove organic stains from slate quickly and effectively using a ready-to-use, mildly alkaline cleaning product. The product is solvent-free. Organic stains refer to those caused by fruit and vegetable juices, coffee, tea, red wine, tobacco, leaves or flowers, berries, blood, hair dye, felt pens, etc.
You will need:
Start by mechanically removing any excess residue from the stain.
Generously apply the product with a cloth or sponge.
Let it sit for 10 – 30 minutes, but don’t let it dry out!
Rinse with clean water and scrub with a brush if needed.
Repeat if necessary, allowing the product to work longer if required.
