For me, slate is a preferred material when I make terraces andoutdoor spaces for Nordic homes and cabins. As an architect, I have gained a good knowledge of various materials, and slate is certainly one of the ones I most like to work with.

After all, many people want natural colors – wood and stone – for their modern houses and cabins. Especially in cabins, where time can pass between each time someone visits, it is very beneficial to lay slate as it is maintenance-free.
